We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, company name, and payment details. We also collect usage data including call recordings, roleplay sessions, and analytics to improve the Service.

Information is collected when you register, use the Service, interact with AI roleplay sessions, or communicate with us. We may also use cookies and similar technologies to collect device and browsing information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, send notifications and analyze usage patterns. We do not sell your personal data or use it to train AI models.
4. Google User Data
Convu integrates with Google Calendar so that our recording assistant can join your scheduled meetings automatically.
What we access
With your explicit consent, we request read-only access to your Google Calendar events (calendar.events.readonly) and your Google account email address (userinfo.email). We cannot create, edit, or delete calendar events.
Why we access it
We read your calendar solely to identify upcoming meetings and their video conference links, so that Convu's recording assistant joins the correct meeting at the correct time, and to associate recordings with the right user and meeting. We use this data for no other purpose.
What we store, and where
We store meeting titles, start and end times, conference links, participant email addresses, and your Google account email. Convu processes and stores this data within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We retain it for as long as your account is active, and delete it within 30 days of account closure or of a deletion request.
Who else processes it
We use Recall.ai as a sub-processor to operate the recording assistant and to sync calendar events. Recall.ai processes this data in the European Union (Frankfurt) under a data processing agreement with Convu. We do not share Google user data with any other third party.
AI and machine learning
Convu does not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Google user data is used only to deliver the features described above.
How to revoke access and delete your data
You can disconnect your Google account at any time in Convu under Settings → Integrations, or revoke Convu's access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops all further calendar synchronisation. To request deletion of data we already hold, email zanyar@convulabs.com and we will delete it within 30 days.
Limited Use
Convu's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data Sharing
We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Some data may be retained as required by law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand usage, and improve the Service. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. The updated policy will indicate the effective date.
