Why reps who roleplay close more.

Ramp time is a lab problem. Real leads are the wrong lab.

The ramp problem

New reps get better by making calls. The catch: the calls that teach them the most are the ones they are worst at. Every real prospect burned during ramp is pipeline you don't get back.

Why coaching alone isn't enough

Reading books and shadowing calls builds vocabulary, not reps. Skills that live in the mouth — pacing, framing, silence, objection handling — only harden through repetition against a buyer who pushes back.

You cannot read your way into a habit. You have to run it, out loud, until it's boring.

What Closer changes

Reps run unlimited live voice calls against AI buyers modeled on your ICP — cold, discovery, objection, demo. Each call is scored against a rubric, transcript included. New hires ramp in weeks instead of quarters, and no real lead pays for their first bad opener.
